This study aims to determine the effect of using the cooperative learning model, Numbered Heads Together (NHT), on high school students' mathematics learning outcomes. The research employed a quantitative approach with an experimental method and a quasi-experimental nonequivalent control group design. The sample consisted of two 10th-grade classes in a senior high school: an experimental group taught using the NHT model and a control group taught using conventional methods. Data on students' learning outcomes were collected through multiple-choice written tests. Data analysis included normality tests, homogeneity tests, and t-tests to test the research hypothesis. The results showed that the average learning outcomes of the experimental group were 85.20, higher than the control group’s average of 78.40. The t-test indicated a significance value of p < 0.05, confirming a significant difference between the two groups. These findings demonstrate that the cooperative learning model, NHT, has a significant positive effect on high school students' mathematics learning outcomes. The implementation of this model enhances student engagement, conceptual understanding, and overall learning achievement.
